Zonal Rounds

TechnoXian is hosting Zonal Competitions across different regions of India to identify the brightest robotics talents. Teams from schools, colleges, and startups will participate in zonal events held in Chennai, Gujarat, Indore, Kolkata, and Chandigarh from April to May 2026. Online registration for the zonals is now open, and top 25% teams from each zone will qualify to compete in the National Round.

National Round

The National Round will be held in India over three days in July 2026.Top teams from the nationals will advance to the Final Selection Procedure in the UAE. Travel and accommodation for the national winning teams will be fully sponsored, ensuring they have the best experience while representing India on the international stage.

Final Selection in the UAE

The Final Selection Procedure in the UAE will bring together the top teams from the National Round. The selected teams will compete in the TechnoXian World Cup 10.0, celebrating a decade of innovation in robotics. This grand finale recognizes technical excellence, creativity, and problem-solving abilities, showcasing the most promising talents from across the globe.

National Winners’ Sponsorship Details

National winners will receive travel and accommodation sponsorship to compete in the International Round of TechnoXian in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

  • 1st Position: Teams securing the 1st place in their respective challenges at the National Robotics Championship (NRC) will receive a 50% scholarship on travel and accommodation expenses for the International Round in the UAE.
  • 2nd Position: Teams securing the 2nd place will receive a 25% scholarship on travel and accommodation expenses for the International Round in the UAE.
  • 3rd Position: Teams securing the 3rd place will bear their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the International Round.

TechnoXian World Cup 10.0 – FAQs

  • 1. How can I register my team for competitions?

    Visit the “Register” section in the app or website, create your club, select your competition category, fill in team details, and complete the payment.

  • 2. What is the registration fee?

    Registration fee for each category is USD 65 for international teams.

  • 3. Can I register for multiple competitions?

    Yes, a team or individual can participate in more than one category by completing separate registrations.

  • 4. Do I need to be affiliated with an institution to participate?

    No. Independent teams or individuals can also participate, provided they meet age and category criteria.

  • 5. Where can I find the rulebooks?

    Each competition's detailed rulebook is available under the “Competitions” section in the app and website.

  • 6. Are there any age limits for competitions?

    Yes. Each competition has specific age or education-level eligibility. Refer to the rulebook for exact criteria.

  • 7. Will kits or robots be provided by organizers?

    Participants must bring their own robots and kits. However, DIY kits from partners like Abira are available for purchase.

  • 8. How many members are allowed in a team?

    Most competitions allow 2 to 10 members. Please refer to individual category rules.

  • 9. Can mentors or teachers accompany student teams?

    Yes, mentors are encouraged and may register as team guides.

  • 10. Can I update team details after registration?

    Limited changes may be allowed before the deadline. Contact support through the app for assistance.

  • 11. Is accommodation provided by the organizers?

    Accommodation options are listed in the app under “Travel & Stay.” Some are provided at discounted rates.

  • 12. Are meals available during the event?

    Yes. Food stalls and catering are available at the venue for participants and visitors.

  • 13. Is there entry for visitors who are not competing?

    Yes, visitors and exhibitors can attend by purchasing visitor passes from the app.

  • 14. What do winners receive?

    Winners receive trophies, certificates, cash prizes, merchandise, and global recognition. Some may also receive incubation or funding opportunities.

  • 15. Will participants receive certificates?

    Yes. All registered participants who compete at the venue receive e-certificates of participation.
